Went for a nice run this morning with the Track Times lads (and girls). It was hot! 32 degrees at 6am! Then we all had a hard-earned (lol) breakfast at the usual place.

- I've been running seriously for about 7 years, but in the next year I am going to take on a far more serious run: a solo unassisted through-run of the Heysen Trail. I am supported by a wonderful wife and we have a couple of great kids with another one on the way soon. I have been a vegetarian for 10 years. It is ironic that I'm born in the year of the horse because I am allergic to them!

If you are having rain now it can only be good news for us Victorians. Don't use it all up!

Our cool change is pushing thru now (fri evening) and it feels and smells amazing. I noticed today while running thru a park that I hadn't ran in for a few months that the path had deep cracks in it as it was so dry, and the wetlands had become slightly damp lands :-(
Hopefully we will all get lot's more of the wet stuff over the next couple of days.

it rained Boxing Day in Brissie and it was wonderful!! you could hear all our green tree frogs croaking with joy... we even had one surprise downfall at 11pm on NYE. Wish I could send a week's worth of Wellington's rain over to Oz...!
